How to behave
on the Water
-
In nature parks always follow the current
rules. Mostly water sports are prohibited throughout the year anyway.
-
Inform yourself before starting your
excursion about possible rules in your area.
-
Help to keep the water and the river sides
clean, Don't throw your garbage. Then you and other will have a lot
of fun in our environment
-
In "water areas with international importance"
animals and plant are especially protected. Please take additional care
when traveling through such areas. Watch animals only from distance.
-
Avoid to enter the border areas when grown
with plants and bad visibility. Avoid shallow waters (breeding grounds
for frogs and fish), especially when grown with water plants, plus sand
banks and mud banks (resting places for birds)
-
Keep sufficient distance (minimum of 100
meters) from collections of birds on the water.
-
When landing use the designated areas or
places where no harm can be done.
-
In plant covered riversides you should not
enter as well from the land side. This is the habitat for birds, fish,
small animals and plants.
-
Watch and take pictures form animals out
of the distance
-
When you are traveling with the sea canoe,
please do not come close to the seal banks. Keep a minmum distace of 300
to 500 meters, and stay in the marked driving areas
-
In waters with adjacent nature reserves consider
the water ways as ways in the sense of the environment protection laws.
It is of course not allowed to land in such areas. We from the Kanu Corner
appeal to your understanding and hope that you behave according to the
rules.
-
Please always follow these rules. Inform
yourself about the rules in your area. Please tell as well other people,
especially the youth and non organized travelers about these rules.
